Atm Bombing In Dobsonville

An ATM was bombed in Dobsonville, Soweto, in the early hours of a Thursday morning, according to Gauteng police. The ATM was situated next to a liquor store^[1].

Other incidents have also occurred in the area. In one case, robbers bombed an ATM at the Dobsonville Extension 3 BP garage around 1am and managed to take the cash^[2].

In another incident, police launched a manhunt for robbers who bombed an ATM in Dobsonville and shot and wounded a police officer during the escape^[3]. A separate report indicates a policeman was shot and wounded by a group of men who bombed a Soweto ATM^[4].
