Dobsonville police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a woman in her early 30s was found with a gunshot wound to the head in Braamfischerville Phase 4 on June 4[1]. A passerby reportedly discovered the body in an open field and notified authorities. Upon arrival, police found the woman lying in a pool of blood. Paramedics declared her dead at the scene. No arrests have been made at this time, and police investigations are ongoing.
Authorities are urging community members with any information or who may be able to assist with the investigation to contact their nearest police station or call the crime stop number 08600 10111. Anonymous tip-offs can also be submitted using the MySAPSApp[1].
