The mall map shows an MTN store that is not in the directory text. If you are looking for one of these brands, call the mall or check the brand’s own store locator before you travel.

Food & Restaurants

Most of the food at Dobsonville Mall is takeaway and quick-service. The 2017 extension added a new food court, according to the owner’s announcement at the time. The directory lists these outlets:

The directory does not list a sit-down restaurant. Phone numbers for every food outlet are on the Dobsonville Mall Shops page.

Banks, ATMs & Services

Dobsonville Mall has branches or outlets for most of South Africa’s big banks, which makes it a useful stop for banking in Dobsonville.

The mall map marks a Capitec ATM. The directory does not say which other banks have ATMs or where they are, so use your bank’s app or ATM locator to confirm before you go. Banks set their own branch hours, which may differ from the centre’s, so check the bank’s branch locator before a weekend visit.

Taxi Rank, Parking & Transport

The mall says it has its own taxi rank inside the centre, so minibus taxis stop right at the mall. The owner’s announcement for the 2017 upgrade also mentions dedicated taxi facilities. Taxi routes and fares are set by the taxi associations, not the mall, so ask at the rank or your local association about routes to and from other parts of Soweto and Roodepoort.

Parking is free, according to the mall, and the map shows open parking areas along one side of the building. The mall does not publish the number of bays, height limits or security details on its website. For those questions, call centre management on 011 988 0101.
