Where to find Dobsonville Stadium fixtures
- Premier Soccer League: fixtures for the Betway Premiership and Motsepe Foundation Championship on psl.co.za. Filter by team and check the venue for each match.
- Club websites and social media: clubs announce venue changes there first. Kaizer Chiefs, for example, published its move to Dobsonville on 27 August 2026.
- Stadium Management South Africa: its tickets page lists ticketed events at the venues it runs.
- News: Sowetan, TimesLIVE and Soweto Urban report venue changes and match results.
Dates & Times
Kick-off times are set by the league and broadcasters and can change close to the day. The Chiefs match against Siwelele is a good example: it was first set for 20:00 on Saturday 5 September 2026 at Royal Bafokeng Stadium, then moved to 17:30 on Sunday 6 September at Dobsonville Stadium after other venues were unavailable, according to Kaizer Chiefs and Sowetan.
For “Dobsonville Stadium match today time”, always use the time on the club or PSL fixture for that day, not an older post.

| Date | Event | Result / note | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 September 2026 | Kaizer Chiefs v Siwelele, Betway Premiership | Chiefs won 3-2 on a rainy, cold evening | TimesLIVE; Kaizer Chiefs |
| October 2025 | Kaizer Chiefs v AS Simba, CAF Confederation Cup | Chiefs won 3-1 | Kaizer Chiefs |

Kaizer Chiefs said in October 2025 that the stadium held a CAF Category 2 rating, while CAF group-stage matches need Category 3. That affects which continental matches can be played here. The Soweto Kota Festival did not return to Dobsonville in 2026; it moved to Elkah Cricket Oval in Rockville.
Organisers who want an event listed can send the official announcement with the date, time and ticket link. We publish only what we can confirm.
