Both PEP shops are PAXI parcel points: PEP is P7341 and PEP Cell is P4691. For all local codes, see PAXI points in Dobsonville.

Food & Restaurants

Dobson Point has three food outlets: KFC, McDonald’s and a Fish & Chips takeaway. They open earlier and close later than the centre, so you can still get a meal after most shops have closed. For hours, phone numbers and the KFC hours conflict, see Food at Dobson Point, or go straight to KFC Dobson Point and McDonald’s Dobson Point. For groceries, Pick n Pay is open until 20:00.

Banks, ATMs & Services

Capitec Bank is the only bank branch in the directory. It trades 08:00 to 17:00 on weekdays, 08:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays and 09:00 to 13:00 on Sundays and public holidays. Absa, Nedbank and Standard Bank have ATMs only. See Banks at Dobson Point for card-loss numbers and nearby branches.

Address, Map & Directions

Address: Cnr Dobson Drive and Mojahanah Road, Dobsonville, Soweto, Gauteng, 1865. The centre’s website says it is close to Dobsonville Stadium.

Search for “Dobson Point Shopping Centre” in Google Maps or Waze; the centre’s homepage has buttons for both. Do not use the GPS coordinates printed on that homepage, as they point to a location far outside Soweto. Also note that some brand listings mix Dobson Point up with Dobsonville Mall, which is a different centre on Elias Motsoaledi Road. The road name is spelled several ways in official listings, including Mojahanah, Mohajana and Mahajane.

If what you need is not here, Dobsonville Mall has more than 70 stores, including a second Pick n Pay and PEP.

Taxi Rank, Parking & Transport

The centre describes itself as easily accessible via all major transport routes and aimed at both shoppers and commuters. It does not publish details of a taxi rank, parking bays, parking fees or bus stops on its website, so we have not listed any.

For taxi and bus options in the area, see Dobsonville transport. If you are driving, phone centre management on 010 591 8239 to ask about parking before a big shop or an event at the stadium.

Contact Details & Facilities

Centre management deals with the building, leasing, security and promotions. For stock, prices or banking questions, call the store directly using the numbers in the directory above. The website does not list facilities such as toilets, Wi-Fi or accessible parking, so ask centre management if you need them.
