Dobson Point publishes centre trading hours and separate hours for each tenant. The food outlets open earlier and close later than the centre, so you can usually get a meal after the shops have closed.

The two sources for KFC do not agree. KFC’s own ordering site lists 08:00 to 21:00 every day, while the Dobson Point directory shows a 09:00 weekday opening and a 20:00 close. When we checked KFC’s site on Sunday 13 September 2026, its live status said the store was open until 20:00. If you are going early or late, check the KFC app before you leave. Neither source lists special hours for individual public holidays.

KFC’s ordering site lists the store as KFC Dobson Point, Dobson Point Shopping Centre, Dobsonville Ext. 3, with collection in store and at the drive-thru, delivery and catering. It is the only drive-thru we could verify in Dobsonville. The centre directory number is 011 880 6942, while KFC’s site shows its central line, (08) 6010 0222. McDonald’s Dobson Point
The centre directory lists McDonald’s South Africa with the number 082 853 2195 and hours of 08:00 to 20:00 every day. The centre’s home page names McDonald’s as one of its national restaurants. For ordering options and updates, see McDonald’s Dobson Point.
Fish & Chips
The directory lists a takeaway called Fish & Chips (011 463 0373). It is the latest-closing food outlet on Friday and Saturday nights by the centre’s figures, at 21:00. The directory does not name a brand, so phone ahead if you want to check the menu.
Groceries and ready meals
Pick n Pay is the anchor store and trades 08:00 to 20:00 every day, according to the centre directory. The directory does not say whether this store has a hot food counter, so call 011 938 6566 if that matters to you.

Address, Map & Directions
The centre gives its address as Cnr Dobson Drive and Mojahanah Road, Dobsonville, Soweto, Gauteng, 1865. KFC’s ordering site uses Dobsonville Ext. 3 and the postal code 1863 for its store here, so you may see either code.
The centre says it is close to Dobsonville Stadium, which makes it a practical stop for food before or after a match. Use the centre name in Google Maps or Waze rather than typed coordinates: the GPS coordinates printed on the centre’s home page do not point to Dobsonville.
Taxi Rank, Parking & Transport
Dobson Point says it is easily reached via all major transport routes. Its website does not describe a taxi rank, bus stop or parking arrangements, so we cannot confirm where taxis stop or whether parking is free. KFC’s drive-thru means the store can be reached by car.
